FAQ
Questions owners ask first
Everything about how Callverted answers your missed calls, what it captures, and how to get started.
Is this just missed-call text-back?
No. Text-back waits for the caller to reply to a text. Callverted answers the call live, asks the intake questions, and creates a scored lead packet, with no dependency on a panicking caller texting you back.
Does it replace my phone number?
Your existing phones and team stay exactly as they are. You publish a new Callverted number for customers to call; it rings your team first and only hands off to the AI on calls that would otherwise be missed or go to voicemail.
Can it handle intake for my specific trade?
Yes. Every trade has its own service list, and it is never read out to a caller like a menu — the assistant asks what is going on and takes their answer. Someone who needs something not on your list has their own words kept verbatim rather than being forced into a category. The three facts it works to are the same in every trade: what the problem is, where the work is, and how urgent. See the industry pages for HVAC, plumbing, restoration, electrical, and general contracting.
Will the AI invent prices?
No. It never works out a price for the job in front of it and it never raises the subject itself. Quoting is off until you switch it on, and even then a caller who asks hears the ranges you configured, in your own wording if you wrote some. With it off, or for a service you have not priced, it says the team will confirm when they call back.
What happens if the caller wants a person?
It takes their name and what they need, files it as a callback message, and alerts you by push and email so someone can get back to them fast. It never bridges the call to a person, because a transfer that rings out is worse than a message that lands.
How fast can we launch?
Setup itself is short: business profile, the number to forward to, your services and prices, answers to the handful of questions callers ask, and a test call. The pace after that is up to you, since republishing your number on your listings and website is on your end.
Does Callverted work after hours and on weekends?
Yes. It answers 24/7. Most missed emergency calls happen exactly when your team is on a job, asleep, or off for the weekend. That's the gap it's built to close.
What do I actually receive after a call?
A callback-ready lead: the caller's number from caller ID, what they need, how urgent it is, where the work is — an address or a ZIP, whichever they gave — a priority score that ranks it against everything else waiting, a short summary, and the full transcript. An estimated job value comes with it whenever we can tell which job it is, and is left off rather than guessed when we cannot.
How do I find out about a new lead?
Instantly. Whether it comes from a phone call, your intake link, or the website widget, Callverted sends a push notification to your phone and an email with the scored lead. It's waiting in your dashboard with the full transcript. If nobody has dealt with a job yet, Callverted nudges your team again — a push first, then a recap email — so nothing goes cold.
Do you record my calls?
Every call becomes a written transcript in your dashboard, so you can read exactly what the caller said and how the job was qualified — the ones Callverted answers and the ones your own team picks up, which are transcribed and scored the same way. A spoken notice plays before either line is recorded. The audio is only ever used to create the transcript and is deleted straight after, so there are no recordings to store or manage.
