Electrical
The no-power call you couldn't take didn't wait for a callback.
A dead panel or a sparking outlet is a safety emergency, and homeowners treat it like one. They call until someone answers. Callverted picks up the electrical calls your crew can't, pushes the safety calls to the top of the list, and has a scored lead on your phone in minutes.
Why electricians lose these calls
- No-power and sparking calls are safety emergencies. The homeowner won't sit in voicemail waiting for you.
- Electrical work runs from a $150 diagnostic to a $12,000 rewire, and a call that rings out tells you nothing about which one it was.
- Storm-season calls arrive in clusters, at night, when every electrician you have is already out or asleep.

What Callverted asks on electrical calls
Three questions out loud, in this order: what happened, how urgent it is, and where. Everything else is picked up only if the caller volunteers it. There's no name to spell, no “what's the best time to call you back,” and no request for a phone number, because that comes from caller ID.
- 1“Briefly, what's going on?” Callers answer in their own words, and Callverted files the job against your menu: an outlet or switch, a panel upgrade, an EV charger, rewiring, a general diagnostic, or no power. Off-menu work is captured as the caller said it.
- 2How urgent it is. Safety wording in the description, sparking or a burning smell, scores from a higher band still, so the fire risk outranks the other emergencies already in the queue.
- 3The ZIP code where the work is needed, spoken or keyed in on the phone.
- 4When it started, captured only if the caller mentions it. Never asked.
- 5A home warranty, financing, or out of pocket, captured only if it comes up. Also never asked.
Benchmark job value for this trade: $150 diagnostic to a $12,000 whole-home rewire. Once you've priced your own services in Settings, the estimate on every lead comes from your numbers instead of these. It's used for ranking only and is never spoken to the caller.
Electrical questions, answered
Can Callverted flag an electrical safety emergency?
Yes, on two levels. A stated emergency with a clear service lands in the Hot band. On top of that, explicit safety language such as sparking, a burning smell, or an electrical fire bands the lead higher still, so it ranks above the emergencies already sitting in the queue instead of tying with them.
Does it handle both service calls and big installs?
Both, and it tells them apart in dollars. A panel upgrade and an outlet repair carry very different estimates, and the estimate uses the prices you configured in Settings before it falls back to an industry benchmark. The number on the lead reflects your pricing, not a national average.
Will it give the caller a price?
Only a price line you approved for that service, read back word for word. Otherwise it says your team will confirm pricing. The value estimate that drives ranking is backend only, and the caller never hears it.
Does it sound like a robot?
It tells the caller it's an automated assistant before it asks anything, then asks three short questions and gets off the phone. It doesn't small-talk, doesn't improvise, and doesn't pretend to be your dispatcher. Someone smelling burning plastic wants a fast, competent handoff, not a chat.
What if it doesn't understand the caller?
It re-asks once (twice for a ZIP code), then moves on with what it has rather than looping. A call never dead-ends into voicemail: worst case you get a partial lead with the transcript and the caller's number, which still beats a missed call with nothing attached.
Stop losing the electrical calls you can't take.
Your phones still ring first. Callverted catches what rings out, sorts the real jobs from the messages, and hands them back ranked. Switch on answered-call capture and the calls you do take become tracked leads too.
